The GCHERA welcomes into membership those in higher agricultural education, research, management and policy making, teaching and research institutions as well as professional, industrial and governmental bodies.

There are four categories of GCHERA membership:

· Individual membership - US$25 per year.
· Institution membership for developing countries and countries in transition - US$100.
· Institution membership for developed countries - US$ 250.
· Lifetime membership - US$ 1000.
