• Access to an on-line Directory, which is updated regularly and contains full contact details about all members. This helps to facilitate opportunities for co-operation, networking and exchange of information.
• Reduction to the Global GCHERA Conferences.
• Members can be nominated and elected for positions within the Executive Committee and Working Groups as well as can express their opinion during the Global Conference, held once per two years.
• Access to publications or events organized by the GCHERA, first-hand participation at discussions on global challenges.

There are six categories of GCHERA membership:

• Individual membership - US$25 per year.
• Institution membership for developing countries and countries in transition - US$100.
• Institution membership for developed countries - US$ 250.
